Channel Data is a subsidiary of the black empowered SI Group, headquartered in Johannesburg with a regional office in Cape Town. In operation since October 1998, Channel Data is today a specialist in the Power Provisioning market with a portfolio of world-class uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
Against a background of continuing power unreliability in the South African and sub-Saharan regions, Channel Data is ideally positioned, offering a comprehensive range of UPS systems from 600va – targeted at small office/home office applications - through to MVA UPS systems for large corporate installations.
Within these parameters, Channel Data offers a range of proven product offerings, including the acclaimed Q-On range with best-of-breed interactive, on-line and 3-phase UPS systems, subsystems and components.
The Powermode division of Channel Data offers a range of turnkey power solutions, backed by comprehensive consultation, sales, installation, commissioning, after-sales servicing and technical support - including emergency on-site technical support.
Powermode clients are able to take advantage of the company’s county-wide service level agreement (SLA) covering maintenance and repair services of both UPS systems and generator sets via a 24x7, incident managed, nationwide service infrastructure.
